Susan Loomis is one of my favorite people and a very good food writer who has chosen to live her life in France. Her new book, Nuts In The Kitchen will appear momentarily. I suggest that you go online and buy a copy which just shows I don't take the title personally.
In her blog, nutsinthekitchen.com, she has already introduced me dukkah which I should have known having just gotten back from Syria. In her book, it is on pages 50-51. It sounds like a staple wwe should all have on hand.
A cooking teacher, she writes clearly and her recipes work. Give it a try.
