Crisp cookies
Silly me. I have been making some new snack cookies to go with drinks for my new book. To see how they hold up, I have been carefully wrapping them. A few escaped the wrapping process. Lo and behold, the crackers that seemed a little soggy got too hard to bite. Back to the drawing board to allow for nature's help in creating crisp. More later after more tests.

My friend and I were recently talking about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.
