Vermon kitchen

This may be my favorite room in one of three houses. There is lots of light. The beams are old. My husband and daughter made the table and the chairs as well as rushing them. The storage is Nineteenth Century storage and pie cupboards. There is an old cast iron stove for cold mornings or when the power goes off. Best of all, there is plenty of room for people to talk and drink and eat. Relaxed
The counters are low so that I can see out: an aged butcher's block and an old kitchen table. There are rocking chairs as well for sipping and talking.

I love kitchens that are easy to cook in and of course easy to sit and talk in.
